My love of and compassion for my fellow man, coupled with an insatiable curiosity, led this artist/storyteller on daily excursions through everything from the nightmare of downtown Cairo traffic, to the beauty in the harshness of life in the desert. Imagine yourself adrift on the Nile in a white-sailed felucca and let me take you to see the Sphinx in the middle of the night, to ancient bazaars and crowded marketplaces, to the tranquil countryside where life unfolds, unchanging. Travel with me on leisurely afternoons, honey-lit and sweet, adventures that lead to new insights and ancient wisdoms. I will make the reader see what I see, hear what I hear, and reflect with me on what it all means, as I discover over and over again that the best treasures in Egypt cannot be purchased.
